Vote For Me! I Need Your Slacktivism.

I know, what a Slacker I’ve been. I have not posted in ages. Maybe I just needed a reason. I have one now!
I’ve entered the Mad Men photo competition for a walk-on role on the show. Along with 2,000 people. Help me move ahead! All you do is click here and then you click vote and- that’s it! You can vote every day. In case you aren’t quite moved by my cause just yet, let’s have a visual:

I call this photo “Love/Hate”. That’s me at the office, high in the sky, slacking off and staring out at the skyline. Isn’t that so New York? That’s so New York.
Or whatever. The point was to capture the Mad Men style. Which I think I did, while still making it my own without using a lot of clichés. This is something I actually do and something I actually wear while doing it.
But I need the votes. Because you need to be in the top 10 of your gender to even be considered in the final judging round. And right now, I’m hovering around the top 150 mark. To be sure, it’s better when I was behind the man wearing his college sweatshirt and jeans and the man wearing marching band pants, but the fact of the matter is I’m still lagging behind a man wearing a velvet suit. There’s something not quite right about that. To rectify this, vote for me! Seriously, I need your votes like that velvet suit is going to need a lint brush.
